The Wind Lift in Construction

The project for the Folkestone Trienial "The Wind Lift" by Ooze and Marjetica Potrc is in construction.

The Folkestone Triennial is one of the most ambitious public art projects presented in the UK. The theme of this years event is "LOOKOUT".The lookout is the person who sees what is coming over the horizon. It is also the structure from which one keeps watch. The act of looking out demands that one takes up a physical position in order to get a perspective on the future.
The curatorial team is lead by Lewis Biggs. The other invited artist are Andy Goldsworthy,Alex Hartley,Amina Menia, Diane Dever & Jonathan Wright,Emma Hart, Gabriel Lester,Ian Hamilton Finlay,John Harle,Tom Pickard and Luke Menges with the Futures Choir,Jyll Bradley,muf Architecture/Art,Pablo Bronstein, rootoftwo,Sarah Staton,Something & Son, Strange Cargo,Tim Etchells,Will Kwan,Yoko Ono.

The inauguration will take place on the 30st of August. The event will last till the 02 november 2014
